Edmonton industrial technoise artist Virtual Terrorist, aka Siborg, aka Chris Lacroix, has just released the new EP, Fragments. Fragments features four original tracks by Virtual Terrorist and several remixes and reimaginings of the tracks by a variety of underground industrial heavy hitters and up and comers, including Caustic, Psykkle, the Rabid Whole, Die Toten and more.

Siborg is well-known for being half of iVardensphere live, and as such he has shared the stage with 16Volt, Chemlab and Left Spine Down for dates on their 2010 MIDI Ghetto Tour, Front Line Assembly, and others. iVardensphere also played a killer set at this year's Kinetik Festival in Montreal. As Virtual Terrorist, Siborg has opened for Melt in Edmonton and remixed Left Spine Down, iVardensphere, Psykkle and more. Virtual Terrorist was one of the winners for the C Drone Defect Letters of Dystopia EP contest and appeared on Zombie Girl's Halloween EP. There have been two previous Virtual Terrorist releases, Demo-Lition v1 and Demo-Lition v2.0.

Virtual Terrorist lives up to the name with a gritty, abrasive tone and club stomping beats that fight dirty in the war to win you over. Might as well just surrender and give yourself over to them.
